STAX. Launch Credit Program Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 19 October 2026

STAX. Launch Credit Program Terms – how your Launch Credit works, who is eligible, and how to use it.

  1. About the Launch Credit Program
    1. These terms cover the STAX. Launch Credit Program and the credit you receive through it (Launch Credit). The program is run by STAX COLLECTIVE PTY LTD ACN 700 813 921 (STAX., we, us, our).
    2. In August 2026, we took over the STAX. brand after the business that previously ran it went into receivership. We are a new company, separate from that business (Previous Business), and its debts and obligations did not pass to us.
    3. We know many customers paid the Previous Business for orders they never received. We didn't want to relaunch without doing something about that, so we decided to create the Launch Credit Program.
    4. Launch Credit is store credit that we add to your STAX. account. It is not a refund. The amount is based on what you paid the Previous Business for your unfulfilled order, less any chargebacks or refunds you have already received, as set out in clause 3, and you can use it at stax.com.au until 30 June 2027.
  2. Who is eligible
    1. You are eligible for Launch Credit if:
      1. you paid the Previous Business for an order placed on or after 1 January 2026 that was never fulfilled (Eligible Order);
      2. you have not already received money back for that order from anyone, including a refund or chargeback from your bank, card provider or the Previous Business; and
      3. by 31 December 2026, you either confirmed or updated your order details using our email, or emailed your order details to help@stax.com.au (including if you did not receive our email).
    2. Launch Credit only covers what you paid by credit or debit card, or with a gift card from the Previous Business, less any chargebacks or refunds you have already received.
    3. Launch Credit does not cover anything paid through PayPal, Afterpay or another third-party payment provider. If you paid this way, please contact your payment provider about their dispute or buyer protection process. We can give you information about your order, such as its status, to support your claim. If you paid for only part of an order this way, the rest of the order can still be covered.
    4. Unused gift card or store credit balances from the Previous Business are not covered.
    5. If you have already received some of your money back, you will be eligible for Launch Credit for only the remaining amount.
    6. If you have already received all of your money back, you are not eligible for Launch Credit.
  3. How much Launch Credit you get
    1. Your Launch Credit equals what you paid for your Eligible Order(s) using the payment methods in clause 2.2, including shipping, minus any money you have already received back.
    2. If you have more than one Eligible Order, you will receive credit for each.
    3. We work out the amount using our order records and the details you confirmed with us.
    4. If you think your amount is wrong, please email us at help@stax.com.au before your Launch Credit expires. We may ask for proof, such as an order confirmation or bank statement.
  1. How you receive your Launch Credit
    1. We add Launch Credit to the STAX. customer account linked to the email address you used for your Eligible Order (Account).
    2. Launch Credit is yours only. You cannot transfer it to another person or account.
    3. Please keep your Account secure. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for Launch Credit used by someone who signs in to your Account using your login details.
  2. Using your Launch Credit
    1. You can sign in at stax.com.au to check your balance at any time, and use it once our online store reopens.
    2. When you place an order, your Launch Credit can be applied, up to your order total. If your balance covers the full order total, the whole order must be paid with Launch Credit – you cannot pay part of it by card or another method. If your order total is more than your credit balance, your full balance is applied and you pay the rest another way. Any balance left over stays in your Account and can be used for future orders.
    3. You can use Launch Credit on products and shipping, on sale items, and together with discount codes.
    4. There is no minimum spend.
    5. If your order has more than one product, the credit is spread across them in proportion to their price.
    6. Launch Credit is in Australian dollars (AUD) and can only be used on orders placed in AUD.
  3. Expiry
    1. Launch Credit expires at 11:59pm AEST on 30 June 2027. Any balance left after that is lost.
  4. No cash value
    1. Launch Credit has no cash value. You cannot swap it for cash, and it does not earn interest.
  5. Returns on orders paid with Launch Credit
    1. Returns and cancellations are subject to our Returns Policy. This clause explains how refunds work when you paid with Launch Credit.
    2. If you cancel or return something you paid for with Launch Credit, we will return that amount to your Account as store credit. Anything you paid another way goes back to that payment method.
    3. For example, if you paid for an order half with Launch Credit and half by card, you will get half back as store credit and half back to your card.
    4. Refunds are based on the price you actually paid for the item.
    5. If you later return something you bought with that store credit, it will also be refunded as store credit.
    6. Store credit returned to you under this clause expires on the same date as your Launch Credit.
    7. This clause does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including for faulty products.
  1. Errors, fraud and misuse
    1. If we issue Launch Credit by mistake, or in the wrong amount, we may correct your balance. We will inform you if we do.
    2. If we reasonably believe you received Launch Credit through fraud or by giving us false or misleading information, we may cancel or reduce it and restrict access to your Account.
  2. Changes to these terms
    1. We may update these terms from time to time. If a change would materially disadvantage you, we will give you reasonable notice first.
    2. A change will never reduce the Launch Credit already in your Account or bring forward its expiry date.
  3. Our responsibility and your rights
    1. Launch Credit is not a refund. Offering Launch Credit, or letting you use it, does not mean we accept any liability for orders placed with the Previous Business, or for any of its other obligations.
    2. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
  4. Questions, disputes and governing law
    1. If you have a question or complaint about your Launch Credit, email us at help@stax.com.au. We will work with you in good faith.
    2. If your situation is not covered by these terms, please contact us and we will consider your request.
    3. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
